Mr. Sherwood was always a welcome sight when our building had ant needs in the Bibb County Schools. He entered with a smile, made sure the problem was taken care of, and made us laugh as he did his good work. I loved him dearly for his dedication and smile. He was a jewel!

Please change “ant” to “any”. I apologize for the error.

Jennifer I remember well your mother and father from Mikado when I was much younger than I am now (75). They were always so sweet and kind to everyone. I also remember Mr Sherwood with his jokes and pranks but he never wanted to hurt anyone with them, he was just having fun. Just seeing his name brings back so many memories of some sweet times at Mikado. My parents were Lucy and Newman Holmes. I don't know if you remember them or not but they were good friends to your mother and father. May God comfort you and your family during this sad time in your life, something I have had to do myself.
