Obituary for Bennie Donald McCard Jr.
Bennie Donald McCard of Macon, Georgia passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 70. He was the son of the late Donald and Mary Leona McCard. He is survived by his brothers; Gerald, William, and Steven McCard. He is also survived by his spouse Beverly Morgan McCard; sons, Stephen and Joel Flanders; other survivors include, daughter in law, Donna Flanders, and grandson, Justin Blake Flanders, all of Macon.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Heather Morgan Flanders.
He was retired from Brown and Williamson and was a member of the Baptist Faith. He found joy in the guns, cars and motorcycles. A number of years ago he sustained two separate falls leading to dementia and difficulty walking. He gradually lost his strength and was bedridden.
His family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their highly skilled team of caring professionals that worked to improve Bennies comfort and well-being for the last eight months.
