Obituary for Betty Bass (Armstrong)
Betty Armstrong Bass, 92 of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation one hour before the service in the funeral home. Reverend Steve Smith will officiate. Interment will be next to her husband in Grace Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Marion Frederick Armstrong and Virginia June Davis Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindy Bass and her daughter, Linda Buffington, brothers, Marion and Larry Armstrong.
Mrs. Bass was a member of the Avondale Baptist Church, where she attended the Friendship Sunday School. She was a retired secretary from the Robins Air Force Base with 37 years of service.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Angel Rucker(John) and Levi Calhoun; great grandchild, Ryder DaCosta; Brother, James V. Armstrong(Barbara). Many loving nieces and nephews.
