Obituary for Camilla McCook (Chapman)
Mary Camilla Chapman McCook, age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at FairHaven Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Hollis, Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Camilla was born in Jesup, Georgia on Friday, August 30, 1940, to the late William Allen Chapman and Eunice Perry Chapman. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Camilla enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking in her spare time. She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace McCook and her companion, Danny Carpenter.
Camilla is survived by her loving children, Mike Mullis (Tracy), Angela Elliott (Kent), Melanie Klingsporn (Keith), Perry McCook (Wendy); grandchildren, Brandon Mullis (Nicole), Riley Mullis, Raina Mullis, Christopher Clevenger (Mackenzie), Morgan Elliott, Madison Brown (Andrew), Olivia Klingsporn, Benjamin Klingsporn, Hannah McCook, Lexie McCook; great-grandchild, Liam Clevenger; and sister, Margaret Conner. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
