Candy Vinson, 56, of Fort Valley, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven. Immediately following the service, Candy will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Candy was born September 13, 1965 in Leesburg, Florida to the late Robert and Betty Faulkner. Candy was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and cheered them on every chance she could. She loved them through thick and thin and Peyton Manning held a special place in her heart. She also enjoyed watching wrestling. Above everything, she loved her family and spending time with them.
Candy was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son; Phillip Keith Vinson, brother; Danny Faulkner and nephew; Matthew Taylor
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her husband of 28 years; Amos Vinson, Children; Kanina Vinson, Michael Vinson (Tay Lewis), Robert Vinson (Jessica) Deborah Halstead (Mark) and Phillip Vinson (Sonya). Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Siblings; Barbara Taylor (Allen) and Kenny Faulkner.
