Obituary for Carra Ellis Rogers
Carra Ellis Rogers, 87, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Friday, April 30, 2021. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rogers grandson, David Rogers will officiate the service. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Milan, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charles Ellis Rogers and Bessie Lane Rogers. He was the husband of the late June Causey Rogers.
Mr. Rogers was a retired crew leader with Armstrong World Industries and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his companion, Betty Hines; children, Perry Edwin Rogers(Sonya), Garry Ellis Rogers(Debbie), and Janet Bazemore(Randy) Brother, Charles Rogers(Carolyn) Sister, Jeanelle Harrell; Five grandchildren, Eight great grandchildren, and Two great great grandchildren.
