Obituary for Charlie Brooks Johnson Jr.
Charles Brooks “Charlie” Johnson Jr. 78, of Knoxville, Georgia passed away Friday, December 9, 2022. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Michael Lewis will officiate.
Born in Cochran, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charles Brooks Johnson Sr. and Maroy Harrison Johnson. He was retired delivery driver from United Parcel Service and attended Roberta Baptist Church.
Mr. Johnson enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren, and looked forward to the UPS Morning Breakfast Club at IHOP in Macon monthly.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lee Tanner Johnson, Children, Susan Crooms (Raymond), Tony Johnson (Andrea), David Johnson (Ashley), and Charles E. Johnson (Kelly); Sisters, Linda Wood, and Cynthia Peterson (Deane); Grandchildren, Ryan Crooms (Farrah); Taylor Crooms, Toby Johnson, Savannah Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Brody Johnson, Dillon Johnson, Luke Johnson, Brennan Nobles, Hayden Nobles, Natalie Johnson and Arya Johnson.
