Obituary for David Samuel "Pee Wee" Adams

David Samuel “Pee Wee” Adams, 67, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bridges of Hope and Restoration Church, 354 Big Oak Road Macon, Ga. 31217.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Leo Frank Adams Sr. and Mary Estelle Lewis Adams. He was a self employed carpenter and attended Bridges of Hope & Restoration Church in Macon.
To know him was to love him. He could always be found early every morning sitting at Johnny V’s, where there he would meet no stranger. He was one of the hardest working men you’d ever have the pleasure of meeting. If he wasn’t working, he was spending time with those grandchildren of his. They were the light of his life. He made sure they were always taken care of and checked on daily. He had a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Adams and former spouse, Deborah Gunnels Adams.
He is survived by his children, Dwayne Gunnels(Brandi), Shane Gunnels(Kelly) and Ashley Lawson(Ryan); Companion, Angel Coleman, Brothers, Leo Frank Adams Jr.(Sheri), Lee Adams, Dennis Adams and Darrell Adams (Debbie); Sisters, Mary Trotter(Ray) and Ann Rogers(Larry). Eleven grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may sign the online register at www.fairhavenmacon.com.
Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services has charge of arrangements.
