Obituary for David Carroll
David Earl Carroll, 81, of Macon, passed away on Sunday, January, 31, 2021. A memorial service will be held on a later date.
Mr. Carroll was born on January 8, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Earl and Carolyn Carroll. He retired from Brown and Williamson, where he worked as a machine operator. Mr. Carroll was an avid University of Kentucky fan, especially the basketball team. In his free time, he loved bowling, going to casinos, playing Bridge, and playing cards with his grandchildren.
Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Carroll.
Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vicki Mitchell Carroll; sons, Bryan Carroll and Todd Carroll (Meredith); grandchildren, Savannah Annis (Michael), Bryannah Carroll (Turner Harkins), Cristopher Carroll, and David Nathaniel Carroll; five great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Carroll; four nieces; and two nephews.
