Obituary for David Prince Odom

David Prince Odom, 63, passed away peacefully at Pine Pointe Hospice on May 10, 2022, after an extended illness.

He was the son of Marvin B. Odom and Marie Patat Odom. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics Technician in 2012. He enjoyed working out at the Macon Health Club, playing golf, reading the Bible, and volunteered at Daybreak Homeless Shelter. He was a member of Lizella United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his father and mother, brother-Phil Odom and niece-Melissa Beattie.

He is survived by Jenny Hicks Odom and their daughter Heather Odom Lockhart (Joe) and two precious granddaughters whom he adored, Ava and Lexi. He is also survived by his siblings, Pam (Tracy) Gates, Vicki (Bobby) Akin, and Jack Odom, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on a later date. Please make donations in his memory to Daybreak Homeless Shelter in Macon, GA, Lizella United Methodist Church, or the donor of your choice.
