David Roy Wall, 62, of Byron, passed away after a 4 year battle with Alzheimer’s on Saturday, June 11, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will begin at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the service; David will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
David was born on October 28, 1959, to the late Jesse Roy Wall and Margie Burnette Wall. David grew up all his life in Macon and at a young age began riding dirt bikes. His family owned Echeconnee Motocross and that was his passion, riding and racing every opportunity he could. Later in life, he really enjoyed Go Cart racing and did that until recently. David worked for Dillard Paper Company as a Truck Driver until 2005 when they closed, where he later went to work at TNT contractors as a heavy machine operator. He was always active and enjoyed running, and biking when able.
David is survived by his loving family. His faithful companion of over 25 years; Anette Hilburn. Daughter; Megan Wall, Anette’s Children; Kristi Cravey (David), Heather Gordon (Wesley) and Anette's grandchildren; Brody Cravey, Maret Cravey, Kaylee Gordon, and Jack Gordon. Sister; Janice Hathaway (Mark); niece and nephew, Jennifer Bone (Jake Knapp), Dwayne Bone, Step niece and nephew Destiny Hathaway, and Trevor Hathaway.
