Obituary for Edward Petter Nezbeth

Edward Petter Nezbeth, 86, of Macon, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, at 11:00 AM in the Revival Fire Ministries Church of God. Immediately following, Mr. Nezbeth will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Mr. Nezbeth was born on June 22, 1934, in Puerto Limón, Costa Rica. He was employed with Roosevelt Hospital, where he worked as an anesthesia technician. Mr. Nezbeth took great pride in his work, making sure every doctor that he worked with was always taken care of. He was a member of Revival Fire Ministries Church of God. He loved his Lord and Savior. Mr. Nezbeth was an ordained deacon in New York and South Carolina. He spent his free time fishing, teaching his entire family how to do so. Mr. Nezbeth was a master carpenter and a professional private driver. He was always jovial and hospitable, loving to cook his family member’s favorite meals. Mr. Nezbeth had a major impact on anyone that knew him.

Mr. Nezbeth was preceded in death by his daughters, Jacquline Nezbeth, Sonia Nezbeth, and Alicia Nezbeth.

Mr. Nezbeth is survived by his wife, Veronica Powell Nezbeth; daughters, Ellita Nezbeth, Rosa Nezbeth, Noily Nezbeth, Dorley Nezbeth, Celia Nezbeth, and Leoni Nezbeth; son, Eduardo Nezbeth (Kate); sisters, Minerva Mullings, Elena Lloyd, and Cornelia Williams; brother, Nathan Mullings; and numerous grandchildren, great-granchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
