Elsie Parrish Martin, 89 of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Her son in law, John Tucker will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10:00 am till service time in the funeral home. The family request attendees to wear a mask for the visitation and service.
Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Parrish and Almedia Hazel Harris Daniels. She was the office manager for her family business, Southside Transmission, where she worked with her husband for many years.
Mrs. Martin was a full time homemaker and was preceded in death by two children, Sandra J. Martin-Root and Nancy L. Durden.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Edward Martin Sr. Children, Patricia Ann Tucker(John), Thomas E. Martin Jr., Deborah Martin McLeod(Gary), and Mark R. Martin. Brother, Earl Raymond Parrish(Betty) grandchildren, John Justin Tucker, Patricia Humphrey (Jonathan), and Jennifer Calhoun(Shaun); great grandchildren, Magnolia and Nova Calhoun.
