Obituary for George Ray Altman Jr.
George Ray Altman, Jr., 62, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 holding the love of his life’s hand. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Pastor Phil Bryant and Dr. Brad Marchman will officiate.
Mr. Altman was born on May 8, 1960 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Mr. George Ray Altman, Sr. and Billie Louise Altman. Ray and Katrina attended Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, together they knew and loved the Lord. Ray enjoyed dancing through life with Katrina. Katrina and Ray created many memories together, along with their fur babies especially Max. Ray spent most of his time enjoying the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. If you ever got the chance to try any of his meats he would smoke, you would be considered lucky! Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family who he dearly loved. Mr. Altman enjoyed life to the fullest and he will truly be missed by all whom knew him.
Ray is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Charlotte.
