Gloria Susan Jones Hurt, 46, of Lizella, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 after a long and courageous battle. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, Susan will be laid to rest in Jones Family Cemetery.
Susan was born on November 7, 1975 in Macon to Ronald and Gloria Ann Jones. Was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a secretary and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Susan was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone, she will be greatly missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her father; Ronald Jones.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Curtis Hurt, Jr., daughter, Makynzie Anna Hurt, whom was the light of her life. Mother; Gloria Ann Jones. Siblings; Ronald Clinton Jones, Emily Joyce Jones, and Julie Ann Hester (David). Sister in law; Kandise Bridges (Ray) and mother in law; Phyllis Tucker.
