Obituary for Irene Hall Jones
Irene Hall Jones, 93, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, April 10, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following, the family will make their way in procession to Glen Haven Memorial Gardens for a graveside celebration of her life that will start at 11:30 AM. Pastor, Ronnie Hollis will officiate.
Ms. Jones was born on January 7, 1930, in Cochran, Georgia, to the late Mr. Ed Hall and Mrs. Maddie Willis Hall. She was a member of Mabel White Baptist and was a homemaker, providing a loving, wonderful home for her husband and children. Ms. Jones spent her free time reading poetry and working crossword puzzles. A kind and beautiful soul, she loved everything about flowers, saw the good in everyone, and was the perfect example of a caregiver.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jack Fred Jones; son, Freddie Jones; one sister; and six brothers.
Left to cherish Ms. Jones memory is her children, Jackie Jones and Davey Jones (Diane); grandchildren, Lisa Neal (Stephen), Brian Jones (Edna), Bridgett Mathis (Cliff), and Chelsea Lyon (Michael); eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
