Obituary for James Grant
James William Grant Jr. 63, of Byron, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Danny Gay will officiate. The family will have at time of visitation on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Warner Robins, he was the son of the late James William Grant Sr and Edith Brinkley Grant. He was a retired engineer with GEICO and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He also attended Porterfield Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wanda Herring Grant, Children, Brittany Grant Brooks(Brandon) and Brad Grant(Kim) Grandchildren, Ashley and Olivia Grant and Emory Brooks.
