It is with a heavy heart that I write this but also with comfort, happiness and joy in knowing that Jim is in Paradise with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ experiencing all the promises Jesus gave us. When I received news of Jim's passing I thought of the many times and things he and I shared and our conversations. He and I go back quite a ways to our times spent together in MAIT Software Engineering in Bldg. 640, Operational Flight Programming in Bldg. 226 and then afterwards when we both ended up in SOF/PR. I have so many great and loving memories of the times I shared with Jim and the conversations we had - too many to even try and write about here. Suffice it to say I was always happy to see him and I cherish all the time spent working with and knowing Jim. I know just how much he loved you boys and ALL of y'all family members by the way his face would light up during our conversations. I have no doubt he is in Paradise now with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although we will all miss him here on Earth he is not gone y'all, he is just not physically with us now. Always remember, Love NEVER dies, it just transcends through time and space. We shall see Jim again as long as we hold fast to Our Lord and Savior Jesus and stay Faithful in Him so we may also go to our Heavenly home and join him and all our loved ones when it is our turn to leave this life. Just know this .... from my time and experiences as a volunteer firefighter and a First Responder Paramedic ... I can bear witness that Jesus is absolutely alive and He IS with us always. Everything He told us through His beloved Apostles is very real and absolutely true. He will never leave us or abandon us. All we have to do is ask Him and trust in Him. His Love for us is unfailing, unlimited and He will carry us through anything we could ever come to in this life. I pray you will all feel the Precious Love and Peace of Our Lord Jesus at this time and always throughout life. God's Blessings, Comfort and Love be with and upon all of y'all ....... Much Love to you all, Jonathan Kurtiak, SOF/PR

Jim helped us on the Talon II autopilot problems. One of the most intelligent people I have ever known. I snuck this photo without him knowing. I will truly miss this fella. RIP my friend!
