Obituary for Jeanette Gregory Weiche

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Jeanette Gregory Weiche also known as “Granny”, 85, peacefully passed away surrounded by family. She was born in Macon, GA on June 17, 1935, to Walter and Sara Lee Gregory.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Tracy Quarles, Donny Weiche (Amy), Adam Weiche (Annette); grandchildren, Jenniffer Leigh Kersey, Dustin Weiche (Corie), Ashley Weiche, Sydney Weiche, Andrew Weiche, Kery Weiche, and Kurt Weiche; and great grandchildren, Aiden Straws, Ashton Straws, Averi Straws.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sara Lee Gregory; sister, Emily Geraldine Gaines; brother, James Gregory; and daughter Wendy Weiche.

She was a huge sports fan (Go Braves), shopping lover, coffee drinking, socializing/fellowshipping, pumpkin bread maker, one of a kind Granny. She loved her church (Liberty United Methodist Church) and church family, Magnolia Manor, her dogs, and especially her family.

Jeanette will be cremated and laid to rest at a very special place that is dear to her heart. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 6th, at 1:00 pm at Liberty United Methodist Church. CDC guidelines will be followed in which masks and social distancing will be required. The service will also be live streamed through Liberty UMC website (www.libertyumc.org), click on “Liberty Video Stream” or you can also go to Liberty United Methodist Church-Founded in 1834 Facebook page. The family knows we are in different times and getting together is hard but they feel all the prayers being lifted.
