Obituary for Jimmy Floyd Bowden
Jimmy Floyd Bowden, 75 of Byron, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022. A graveside services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 am in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Reverend Bob Carey and Reverend Charles Clance will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 am in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late James Bowden and Louise Tidwell Bowden. He was a member of the Cathedral of Christ Baptist Church and was retired from Armstrong World Industries. Mr. Bowden was preceded in death by his brother, Benny Bowden and sister, Evelyn Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna Cantrell Bowden, children, Brock Bowden(Lisa) and G.T. Bowden; Sister in law; Jeanette Bowden, Long time friend, Kristi Hightower; grandchildren, Jarrett Johnson, Emily Bowden, Faith Bowden, and Zoe McMullen(Devin). Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
