Obituary for John William "Buster" Vinson III
John William Vinson, III, or Buster as he was lovingly known, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 27, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven. Immediately following the service, Buster will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Buster was born on March 29, 1966 in Macon, to the late John William Vinson, Jr. and Betty Gail Vinson. Buster was a simple man, who enjoyed simple pleasures in life like riding his motorcycle, and fishing. He also enjoyed collecting civil war memorabilia and was a walking book of knowledge; he could tell you whatever you wanted to know.
Buster is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, all who will miss him dearly.
