Obituary for Johnnie Eugene Carden
Johnnie Eugene Carden, 67, of Macon, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 10, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Revival Fire Ministries, 4589 Jones Rd, Macon, GA, 31216. Pastor Tom Black will officiate.
Johnnie was born on August 14, 1955 in Macon to the late Olen and Peggy Carden. He worked in Construction most of his life and was extremely skilled at his trade. In his free time, he loved woodworking and refinishing antiques, an art he learned from his father. Johnnie carried over these unique abilities throughout his career and used them whenever he got a chance. When he wasn’t woodworking, Johnnie loved to fish. He was a devout man of God and knew his Bible back and forth. He always sought to be an inspiration to anyone in need and never missed an opportunity to bring someone to the Lord. His kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Johnnie was greeted in heaven by his parents as well as his infant son; Christopher Dean Carden.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His daughter, Hope Carden Beard (Paolo). Sisters; Marie Griffin (Steve) and Brenda Carden Stovall. Grandchildren; McKinleigh Carden and Maddison Carden. Nieces and Nephews; Jody Bellizia, Chris Dean (Beth), Wendy Bloodworth (Carlos) and Chad Griffin (Lindsay) as well as the love of his life, Donna Singleton.
