Obituary for Joseph Nathaniel Dooley
Joseph Nathaniel Dooley, 83, of Byron, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Elam Memorial Gardens in Gray, Ga. Reverend Adam Bray will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Piedmont, Alabama, he was the son of the late Jim B. Dooley and Ollie Fordham Dooley. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Dooley and a daughter, Janet Griffin.
Mr. Dooley was a retired meat department manager with the Kroger Grocery Company and was of the Church of God faith.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, LaVerne Stewart Dooley, children, Brad Borum (Shannon) and Jan Perez(Rogelio) Grandchildren, Chris Miley(Angie), Joe Miley(Lisa), Billy Miley and Spencer Edens.
