Obituary for Joseph Monroe Faulk

Joseph Monroe Faulk, 79, of Roberta, went home with his Lord and Jesus, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his home. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A service for family and friends be held after visitation with Reverend Loretta Faulk officiating. Facial Coverings are required, and the number of people for service in the chapel will be limited. For those unable to attend; the service will be streamed live on Facebook at FairHaven Funeral Home-Macon.
Joe was born on June 6, 1941 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late James Oscar Faulk and Beulah Mae Smith Faulk. He served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam and received a medal for rifleman-sharpshooter. He served as chef and loved to cook. Joe was also a 32nd degree Mason with the Lizella Lodge. His greatest joy in life came from his kids and grandkids and he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; J.W and Richard. Three sisters; Fay, Diane, and Marie.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His wife of 54 years; Brenda Kaye Batchelor Faulk. Daughters, Kristi Harrison (Alan) and Angela Darby (David). Grandchildren; Jakob Harrison, David Darby, and Chris Darby (Brooke), Chantell Schaefer, Kaileigh Harrison, and Alaina Harrison. Five great grandchildren; Brooke Schaefer, David Schaefer, Presley Darby, Briggs Darby, and Kinley Darby. Sister, Johnnie Ward(William) and Brother, David Faulk.
