Obituary for Julia H. Bryant
Julia H. Bryant, 82, of Lizella, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following, Mrs. Bryant will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, April 24, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryant was born on November 14, 1940, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Daniel Heath and Mrs. Mattie Berry Heath. She was a former member of Mikado Baptist Church and the president of the Larry G. Hudson fan club. Mrs. Bryant was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and their third baseman, Chipper Jones. She spent her free time talking on the phone and manning her post as the “official” Holly Road Security Guard.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her first husband, of 21 years, Waymond Molton, Sr.; second husband, of 40 years, Richard Russell Bryant; two stepdaughters; and six siblings.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by her daughters, LaFaye Molton and Denise Molton; sons, Keith Molton and Waymond “Borat” Molton, Jr.; stepson, Richard Bryant (Stephanie); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and special friend, Pat Bartlett.
