Obituary for June Smith (Whitaker)
June Whitaker Smith, 87, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation from 10 am till service time in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Billy McLean will officiate
Born in Wrightsville. Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Curtis Whitaker and Nettie Sweat Whitaker Moore. She was the widow of Otis J. Smith.
Mrs. Smith retired from the accounting department with Huber Corporation with 45 years of service and was a member of the Cross Keys United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Randy “Smitty” Smith, and Cindy S. Evans(Jeff), Brother, Michael
Gary Whitaker(Debra), sister-in-law, Ellen Whitaker; grandchildren, Chad Evans(Patricia), Chris Evans (Rebecca) and Brandy McDaniel(Brent); great-grandchildren, Layne McDaniel, Avery, Chandler, Reid, Chase, and Natalie Evans
