Kenneth Larry Spires, 59 of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, February 7, 2022. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Lizella Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. till service time in the church. Reverend Chris Minton will officiate.

Born in Macon, Georgia, he was the son of Gracie Brown Spires and the late Doris Spires. He was employed as a project manager with International Paper Company and a member of the Lizella Baptist Church. Married 38 years to the love of his life and together they raised two children who he loved dearly. Larry enjoyed traveling with his family and at his request wanted his ashes scattered in Yellowstone National Park. Larry was a hobbiest and enjoyed fixing just about anything and bringing it back to speed. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a friend to all and will be missed immensely.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Spires, Children, Jillian Bunch(Brandon), and Chance Spires. Mother, Gracie Spires and Sister, Brenda Thompson.
