Obituary for Leonard Slade Eubanks
Leonard “Slade” Eubanks, 58, of Macon, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Funeral services will be private.
Slade was born on February 16, 1963, in Macon, Georgia. He was a truck driver with Western Express. Slade was an avid NASCAR fan; his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He was a BIG man with an even BIGGER heart, who loved his family more than anything. Slade would always go out of his way to check on everyone, sometimes multiple times a day. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Slade was preceded in death by his father, Leonard S. Eubanks.
Slade is survived by his wife of 12 years, Darlene Tenney Eubanks; mother, Pauline Robinson Eubanks Hortman; sister, Penny Leaptrot; brother, Leonard “Sean” Eubanks (Deborah); nieces, Hannah Sanchez (Jonathan) and Tara Eubanks Lawson (Mike); and nephews, Johnathan Eubanks (Reva) and Caleb Leaptrot.
