Loren Monroe Jones, 84, of Macon, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 12, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Monday, May 16, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lee Griffin and Reverend Micah Carr officiating. Immediately following the service, Mr. Jones will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born on August 16, 1937 in Cordele, Georgia to the late James Jones,. and Pearlie Powell Jones. He worked the majority of his life as a Shop Foreman for Bibb County Board of Education Transportation Department. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and served on several boards. He loved his Lord dearly but above everything, he was a Godly man whom loved his family more than anything.
Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife; Wilma Nell Jones.
