Obituary for Malcolm Gene Plummer

Malcolm Gene Plummer, 87 of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Lawtey, Florida, he was the son of the late George B. Plummer and Willa Grace Henderson Plummer. He was retired owner and operator of a construction company and was a bailiff for the Macon Bibb County Sherriff Office.
Mr. Plummer attended his first year of college at Mercer University where he was President of his freshman class. He then attended Georgia Tech for his BBA degree, Georgia College for his MBA and received his MSM from Mercer University. He was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church, a real estate broker and an U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the intelligence force in Germany during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, David Wesley Weekley, a brother, Philllip Ray Plummer, brother in law, Tommy Mansfield and son in law, Stephen Mason.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Patricia Lee Plummer, children, Mark Alan Plummer, Susan Plummer Mason, Sheryl Plummer Trent(Michael), sister in law, Emily Plummer; and Richard Lee Weekley(Trish), sisters, Linda Plummer Mansfield, and Cindi Plummer Weatherly(Neal), grandchildren, Brian Trent(Laura), Bobby Trent, Hamilton Mason, Lindsey Smith(Glenn), Matthew Weekley, Meghan Glass(Marshall), Thomas Weekley, Whitney Shiver(Mathew), Tori Weekley, Chris Holcomb and Fifteen great grandchildren.
