Obituary for Mark Wesley Foskey
Mark Wesley Foskey, 61 of Gray, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Macon, Georgia he was the son of the late Carl Wesley Foskey and Mary Alice Alley Foskey.
Mark was employed by Operating Engineers Union Local 926 where he was proud to be one of the youngest crane operators at the age of 19. Later, he went to work for Lowe Electric Supply Company and was with Lowe for nearly 35 years. He was a die-hard Falcons fan and loved the Braves. He was also a country music enthusiast and could find a country song to fit any life situation or simply to clear a room.
He was a proud Dad and Pop. He took raising Chad and Brad very seriously and if you know them-you know he did well.
Mark was a heck of a man and will be missed tremendously by his family, friends and co-workers.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Barfield Foskey, Children Chad Foskey(Pamela) and Brad Foskey(Rachel); Grandchildren, Jake, Wes, and Rhett Foskey. Step Children, Tanner Moore, and Jack NeSmith. Siblings, Deborah Prosser(Mike) and Cathy Sanders. Several Nieces and Nephews.
