Obituary for Mary Ann Graham (Boutwell)

Mary Ann Boutwell Graham, 83, of Lizella, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. A celebration of Mrs. Graham’s life will be held on Friday, January 6, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Following the funeral service, Mrs. Graham will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 1530 Airport Rd, Eastman, GA 31023.

Mrs. Graham was born on October 4, 1939, in Dodge County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Joe Boutwell and Mrs. Gladys Bass Boutwell. She retired from Robins Air Force Base, where she worked as an accounting specialist. Mrs. Graham was a member of Open Bible Tabernacle Church, where she faithfully and lovingly, served in many different roles. The role she served best was as a loving wife; always taking great care of her husband, who she loved so very deeply. Mrs. Graham will be remembered for never meeting a stranger, being the epitome of a prankster, and feeding everyone with her wonderful cooking. She will be missed by all the knew and loved her.

Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her siblings, Ludie Crutchfield, Billy Boutwell, Joyce Williams, and Junior Boutwell; grandson, Scotty Barr; and great grandson, Dillon Scaggs.

Left to cherish Mrs. Grahams memory is her husband of 65 years, Johnny Ray Graham; daughters, Barbara Rauch (Robert) of Rantoul, IL, Vicki Barr (Scott) of Cypress, TX; and Rae Ann Elliott (Alan) of Lizella; grandchildren, Malea, Nicole, Brett, Keegan, Kyler, Bobbie, Shelby, Jennifer, and Jessica; 16 great grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Holland (Terry) of Cadwell, GA and Eddie Boutwell (Evelyn) of Gainesville, GA.
