Michael Eugene Hobbs, 66, of Macon Ga went to be with the Lord on Tue. May 3,2022. The family will have visitation on Thur. May 5,2022 at Fairhaven Funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Fri. May 6,2022 at Macon Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m. with longtime friend, Michael Leverrett officiating. Following Graveside family and friends are welcome to gather at Carol Hobbs house located at 6649 Perkins Cir, Macon, GA 31216. Michael was born July 20,1955 in Macon Ga, where he resided all of his life. He was an accountant specialist at Robins Air Force Base for 31 years. He enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing. He also worked as a board member, chairman, and employee for Disability Connections here in Macon Ga. He demonstrated great leadership and adoration for the disability community, especially in Middle Ga. Michael was also a huge supporter of Project Linus, Bibb County Georgia Chapter, where his wife was an avid crocheter. He was always a smiling and happy transporter of blankets. He was also the president of the Middle Ga CB club. Left to cherish his memory is his loving family: Wife of 28 years Carol Hobbs, Daughters Angel Choate and Cheryl Davis; Grandchildren Jeremy Choate Jr, Isabella Choate, Amelia Lawson, Brian Lawson Jr, Star Soto, James Soto, Dwayne Wilder, Brandon Wilder, Sister-N-law;s Valerie Morales, June Hobbs and Lynn Hobbs; Brother in law and Sister in Law; Paul and Mary Ann Kelley; Nieces; Ginger Butts and Tara Gonzales (Joey). Along with several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Roger A. Hobbs, Hazel Hobbs and Joyce Hobbs. Siblings Roger A. Hobbs Jr, Larry Hobbs and his twin brother Richard Hobbs and nephew Roger A. Hobbs III.
