Obituary

Miriam Ann Bohannon, 77, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, March 19, 2021. A private family graveside will be held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Dr. Brad Marchman will officiate.
Born in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary McKendree Smith. She was the widow of Jimmy Dan Bohannon.
Mrs. Bohannon was a graduate of McEvoy School Class of 1961, Air Force wife and a homemaker, she resided in several states with her husband with the Air Force, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, Tucson, Arizona, Rapid City, South Dakota, and Okinawa, Japan and then retired with her husband back to Macon. She was retired from Kroger Grocery Stores and was an avid seamstress.
She was a member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, where she was a member her favorite Sunday School Class, the Wings Class. She also enjoyed being involved with the WMU, Agape and the Heirloom Widows Group.
She is survived by her daughter, Angie Whitley (Steve) of Gray, granddaughter, LeAnn Whitley, of Atlanta; Siblings, Kathy Mason (Chuck) of Centerville, Jan Wright of Macon and Randy Smith (Sheila) of Decatur, Alabama. Several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to the Lawrence Drive Baptist Church Mission Impact Fund, 5774 School Road Macon Georgia 31216.

Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services has charge of arrangements.
