Obituary for Patricia Garrett Yates
Patricia Garrett Yates, 72, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. The family will greet friends on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 306 Windwood Court Lizella, Georgia 31052. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at First Evangelical Church, with Reverend Taylor Carter officiating.
Patricia was born in Macon, Georgia on November 12, 1950, to the late Layton and Vivian Garrett. She worked as a registered nurse at Internal Medicine Associates for 30 years. She enjoyed travel ball and loved going to the mountains, especially Cherokee.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Duane Yates of Lizella Georgia; children, Ashley Boothe (Tasha) of Lizella, Georgia, Michele N. Boothe (Kira Rich) of Woodstock, Georgia; stepchildren, Gene Yates of Florida, and Terry Yates of Georgia; grandchildren, Tori Boothe, Ashton Boothe, Brycen Lane, and Breyden Lane; great-grandchildren, Asher Joyner; sister, Sandra Fullman Merritt of Macon, Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
