Obituary for Paul William Leach

Paul William Leach, 78, of Byron, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. A celebration of Mr. Leach’s life will be held on a later date.

Mr. Leach was born on May 5, 1943, in Byron, Georgia, to the late Rufus Leach and Galdys Chester Moore. He was retired from Middle Georgia Hospital, where he worked in maintenance. Mr. Leach was a hardworking and very talented wallpaper hanger. He provided his children with skills and well-paying jobs during
their teenage years helping him in his profession. Mr. Leach’s real passion was fishing and camping and enjoyed freshwater and saltwater fishing in areas like Keaton beach, Carrabelle, Eufaula and the Okeefenokee Swamps.

Mr. Leach was preceded in death by sisters, Audrey Raffield, Jean Croft, and Maureen Phillips; and brothers, Jack Leach, John Leach, Teddy Leach, and Paul Leach.

Mr. Leach is survived by his daughter, Laura Alexander (Tom); sons, Mark Leach (Charlene), Ricky Leach, and Wesley Leach (Brandi); grandchildren, Lindsey Bartlett (Tucker), Rebekah Edenfield (Wesley), Dawson Leach, Sarah Beth Erlinger (Bruce), Taylor Jones, Emmaleah Alexander, Kenneth Grant, III, Dylan Leach
(Caroline), Makayla Leach, Allen Leach, and Dakota Alexander; greatgrandchildren, Jasper, McKenna and Maddie; and several nieces and nephews.
