I first met "Leon" in 1972 when I went to work for Tiger Auto Parts. Leon and Charlie (Mauldin) took a 17 year old kid under the wing and both became close friends. Leon was extremely intelligent and had a great sense of humor. He truly was a "gearhead" and loved what he did. What a great guy! So sorry that I missed the visitation. Jane, Elaine and I send our heartfelt condolences as we know how much you and the family will miss Leon.

Bob, I’m sure everyone who worked with you can say this-you made coming to work each day fun. Your sense of humor and sweet spirit will be missed.

Nick - the name that we called him at work at WRALC - was a friendly, likeable, intelligent, and a good person with a good sense of humor. It was a pleasure knowing him and working with him through the years. A good friend indeed, he will be missed. Condolences to you Jane, he always thought about you and loved you very very much.
