Obituary for Robert Leon Nichols
Robert Leon Nichols, 75, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Mr. Nichols will be privately entombed at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nichols was born on July 13, 1945 in Macon, Georgia to the late Cary Nichols and Eddie Will Nichols. He served our country in the United States Air Force and was retired Civil Service from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Nichols had a passion for working on cars, and was a true gear head.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister; Mary Ellen Pender.
Survivors include his loving wife; Dorothy Jane Nichols. Step daughter; Gail Hadarits, sisters; Arlene Barrett and Gail Jobes as well as his best friend of 50 years; Charlie Mauldin.
