Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Davis, Sr., 74, of Macon, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Joe Bowker officiating. Out of respect for the family, masks are required at both the visitation and funeral service.
Mr. Davis was born on May 24, 1946 to the late Lamar Davis, Sr. and Leona Ray Davis. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. After his time in the service, he began a lengthy career with Norfolk Southern Railway as a switchman. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and was once a member of High Pointe Church.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings; Lamar Davis, Jr., Betty Register and Rueben (Pete) Davis.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family; His wife of 49 years; Linda Davis. Children; Ronald Lee Davis, Jr. (Jessica) and Heather Davis (John Reineke). Granddaughter; Sarah Reineke and his sister; Becky Kent.
