Obituary for Sharon Denise McBride
Sharon Denise McBride, 49, of Macon, GA was reunited with her Mama, Agnes “Aggie” Inez Wooten Dorch McBride and Daddy, Jerrel “Mac” Lee McBride, in heaven on Thursday, January 12th, 2023. Funeral services will be private.
Sharon was born on September 2nd, 1973, from that day on she was proud to be a McBride. She graduated from Tok High School and continued her education at Troy University, in Teaching and Special Education, following in her Mama’s footsteps. In her time as a teacher she worked with numerous children and loved them all as her own. She and her sister, Sherri McBride, were known for causing chaos all over Alaska, and were proud of it! Sharon was known for her love of line dancing, and would two step the night away with her best friend and husband, Joel Rogers; the love that they shared was one many dreamed of. Sharon always knew she wanted to be a mother and in 2001 adopted her taller clone, Renée McBride-Rogers. They were each others number one supporters, with a bond that will never be broken, they were there for each other through thick and thin. Though she swears she didn’t like people, Sharon would have done anything for the ones she loved; and when she loved you, she made sure you knew it.
