Obituary for Sharon Michelle Sheppard
Sharon Michelle Sheppard, 54, of Macon, passed away on May 3, 2022. A celebration of Ms. Sheppard’s life will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, May 6, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Sheppard was born on November 3, 1967, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Clifford Sheppard, Jr. and Mrs. Patricia Tyner Yarborough. She was a homemaker, that loved spending time with her family. Ms. Sheppard always did more for others than she did for herself. She spent much of her free time tending to her flowers, garden, and watering the grass.
Ms. Sheppard was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Sheppard and Clifford Sheppard, III.
Ms. Sheppard is survived by her husband of 43 years, Shane Walker; daughter, Shana Michelle Walker; son, Shelby Lee Walker; grandchildren, Wesley Strickland, Walter Lee Strickland, and Trinity Strickland; sister, Debra Parkerson; sister-in-law, Angela Sheppard; nieces, Shelly Walker, Crystal Whaley, Shanda Sheppard, Amber Sheppard, Pearl Sheppard, Angie Sheppard; and nephews, Billy Mimbs III, Matthew Sheppard, Billy Sheppard III, and Ronnie Sheppard.
