Obituary for Sheila Diane Sears (Hardy)
Sheila Diane Hardy Sears, age 68, of Macon, Georgia awoke in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 12, 2022. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at FairHaven Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, at 11:00 AM with Reverend Chris Minton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, February 17, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Sheila was born in Macon, Georgia on Sunday, August 30, 1953 to the late Lamar Hardy and Laurie Molton Hardy. She was retired from Colonial Bakery and loved Jesus, her Bible, gospel music, and watching sermons on TV. She was a loving wife, momma, sister, and nanny. Her greatest joy was being with her grandbabies and great-grandbabies.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stanley Sears; daughter, Melissa Gaines-Mosely (Bo); son, Jason Sears (Emily); brothers, Tim Hardy (LuAnn), Doug (Jeannie); sister, Sharon Whigham; grandchildren, Cierra Miller, Cole Miller, Carson Sears, Halle Sears; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
