Obituary for Steve Eisner Day (Day)
Steve Eisner Day, 65, of Macon, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2022. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Steve was born on January 14, 1957, in Macon, Georgia, To Betty Day Richardson and the late Bob Day.
Steve graduated from Central High school in Macon in 1975, then attended Georgia College. He was a design and fabricator for Macon Tint and Awning. Also being a working part of Days flying service. Steve loved sports, flying, fishing, hunting and most importantly his family. He dearly loved and respected his Mama. Steve was a great man, always true to his word and true to his friends. If he told you something, you could bank on it! Always cool under fire, with a quiet confidence and afraid of nothing. There was nothing he wouldn’t do or give to help someone in need.
Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia and Robert "Bob" Day, Sr., and Beatrice and Robert "Pal" Bryant.
Steve is survived by his sons, Christopher Day, Aaron Day, and Daniel Day, Stacey Lokey-Day; His grandchildren; Hayden Day, William Day, Leia Day, Jude Lokey, Eli Lokey, His sister; Stacey Day Stokes, Mike Stokes; and his nephew Matthew Day.
