Obituary for Tammy Watkins Vaughn

Tammy Watkins Vaughn, 55, of Macon, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 5, 2022. A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held on the 21st of May at First Evangelical Church at 11:00am with her Pastor, Tim Long officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.

Tammy was born on January 25, 1967, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to James Richard Watkins and Glenda Sue Watkins (Rowland). She was a homemaker who loved spending time with and taking care of her family. She loved her Lord Jesus and was the center of her family. She found joy in doing for others and always put the needs of others before herself. She loved the outdoors and found such pleasure in the beauty that the lord had created, she loved working in the garden and flower beds until her health prevented her from being able to.

Tammy was preceded in death by her sister Robin Fincher, father-in-law Thomas Vaughn, mother-in-law Anna Vaughn and brother-in law Brad Vaughn.

Left to cherish Tammy’s memory is her loving husband of 23 years, Phillip Brian Vaughn; children, Stephanie Ryder (Chris), Franklin Daniel, Thomas Vaughn (Abby), Katelyn Vaughn (fiancé Brenton Walker), Ashley Boccuti (Justin), Matthew Vaughn (Brianna), Stormy Taylor (David); parents, Glenda Sue Rowland (Billy) and J. R. Watkins (Linda); 8 Grandchildren, Chris Ryder, Logan Boccuti, Emma Boccuti, Aiden Vaughn, Maddi Vaughn, Aliya Vaughn, Dylan Taylor, Raylin Taylor; Siblings, David Watkins, LeeAnn Watkins (Steve), Lin Oliver (Brenda), Traci Courson (Johnny), and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins
