Obituary for Terry Eugene Johnston
Terry Eugene Johnston, 63, of Byron, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, January 28, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will begin in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Ronnie Campbell officiating.
Terry was born on May 17, 1959, in Macon to the late Charles Johnston and Betty Woods. He worked the majority of his life as a ironworker for several local businesses. In his free time, Terry loved to fish. He was a simple man who enjoyed simple pleasures. Above everything, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies, they were the light of his life.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Duane Johnston and Michael Johnston.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family; His children; Travis Johnston (Kirstie), Terri Johnston, Justin Johnson, Sharon Beck (John), Brandon Vickery (Patricia). Grandchildren; Jaylan Johnston, Nataleigh Buford, Maddie Beck, Emerson Gasaway, Taylor Vickery, Destiny Vickery, Gracie Vickery, Natalie Vickery.
