Thomas E. Fields Jr, “Tommy” 69, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, June 3, 2022. A celebration of life will be announced later by his family.
Born in McRae, Georgia, he was the son of Ellen Bailey Whitehead and the late Thomas Edward Fields Sr. He was the owner and operator of Fields Grassing and Tractor Work.
Mr. Fields led an interesting life, he was an avid fisherman, loved music, where he learned to play the guitar, fiddle, keyboard, and the harmonica. He enjoyed scuba diving and was also an airplane pilot. With his business, he became a mechanic, welder and a “jack of all trades”.
He is survived by the love of his life of 42 years, his wife, Hazel Fields, his loyal companion, his dog, Skeeter; Mother, Ellen Whitehead daughter, Tracy Griffith; Sister, Sharon Bestwick, His great nephew, Chad “Bad Chad” Griffin, Brother in laws; Randall Thompson and Steve Griffin, Good Friend, Donnie “Rabbit” Hill and Three nieces and one nephew.
