Obituary for Tommy Alan Musselwhite
Captain Tommy Alan Musselwhite, 68, of Macon, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. A celebration of Captain Musselwhite's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Griffin officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Captain Musselwhite was born on May 20, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late Mr. Marion Musselwhite and Mrs. Henrietta Oliver Musselwhite. He proudly served his community as a Macon Bibb County Firefighter before retiring after 41 years of service. Captain Musselwhite was also an Arson Investigator, as well as a Bibb County Sheriff. In his free time, he loved to fish and was an avid collector of fire department memorabilia.
Captain Musselwhite is survived by his wife of 49 years, Teresa Thompson Musselwhite; daughter, Amanda Buckley; son, Christopher Musselwhite (Michelle), grandchildren, Christina Musselwhite, Chase Musselwhite, Kailani Buckley, and Makayla Sorrow; sister, Kay Davis; brother, Lynn Musselwhite; and nephew Matthew Thompson.
