Obituary for Valeria Voncile Sark
Valeria Voncile Andrews Sark, 91, of Lizella, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 15, 2021. A private graveside service for family only will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Gary Berrier and her son Reverend Terry Sark officiating. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed live on Facebook at FairHaven Funeral Home- Macon.
Voncile was born on August 28, 1929 in Augusta, Georgia to the late James Washington and Lois Dicey Andrews. She was married to the love of her life Walter Raymond Sark, and together they built a wonderful life raising four children. She was a faithful Christian woman, and a member of Macon Evangelistic Church since the 1940’s. Voncile enjoyed teaching Sunday School, and taught until 2019 at the age of 89. She put her family above everyone else, and was the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Raymond Sark, a brother Donnie Andrews, and son in-law Paul Major.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her four children; Steve Sark (Lisa), Terry Clare Sark (Annelle), Walter Kevin Sark (Vicki), and Debbie Major. Nine grandchildren, Eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Brother; Reggie Andrews (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made in Mrs. Sark's honor to: Macon Evangelistic Church, 5399 Hartley Bridge Rd, Macon, GA 31216.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care they gave to Mrs. Sark.
