Obituary for Virginia Evelyn Roberts (Dugard)
Virginia Evelyn Dugard Roberts of Warner Robins, passed away on January 19, 2021, and is survived by her husband, Jerome (Jerry) Roberts. She was 86 years old, born June 12, 1934, and was predeceased by her father, Charles Martin Dugard; her mother, Carmie Walden Hancock; a very loving step-father, Howard Hancock; and a son, Keith Brown.
Evelyn is survived by six children, Nancy Evelyn Andrews (Al), Tim Brown (Cindy), Neel Brown, Glynn Brown (Beth), and Deana Knight; sixteen grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Evelyn’s request was not to have a formal funeral but rather have family and friends assemble together in a time of rejoicing. This gathering/visitation will be held at Al and Nancy Andrew’s home, 218 Hidden Lake Drive, Gray, on Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 2-5 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made in Evelyn's honor to: Humane Society of Houston County at www.humanesocietyhoco.org.
