Obituary for Wanda Faye Hawks
Wanda Faye Hawks, 50, of Macon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, Wanda will be laid to rest in Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Darren Wolford will officiate.
Wanda was born on December 13, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky to Stinson and Ethel Hawks. She was formerly employed as a dispatcher for Community Ambulance. In her free time, she loved listening to music and being with her dogs. Her greatest joy in life came from her family, especially spending time with her grandsons, they were the light of her life.
She is survived by her loving family. Her parents; Stinson and Ethel Hawks. Son; Brandon Thompson (Taylor). Grandsons; Easton, Tucker, and Brady Thompson. Companion; Mike Nipper. Siblings; Michael Hernandez (JoAnn) and Rhonda Jones (Barry). Nieces and Nephews; Melissa Moody, Jay Yancey, and Brandi Jones along with a host of extended family and friends.
